Job Title:
Content Creator - Mindzai Production Team
FULL TIME

Location:
Mindzai Head Office - Markham, Canada

Job description:
As part of our production team you will be responsible for producing our creative content such as live shows, video content, social media and blogs. You will work with other team members and third party partners and vendors to coordinate and produce live streams, vod content, podcasts, advertisments and other media for Mindzai.

You aren’t afraid to be in front of a camera and are willing to do what it takes to get the job done. You will be a face and advocate of our brand, help to educate our collectors of new toys, be passionate, engaging, memorable and love all things toys, art and pop culture related. You understand that social media and content production go together in harmony.

You are expected to execute a mix of both production operations and retail operations including the following below.

Production Team:

Host and produce live streaming shows for ToyShopLive, PopShop Live, Whatnot, NTWRK and other online platforms
Write and produce segments for other media content
Manage av equipment such as cameras, microphones, lights
Work with software such as OBS, Discord, Twitch, YouTube and Facebook Live, Instagram and Tiktok
Provide amazing customer service at all times including checkout, helping customers sign up for new accounts, discount codes and order updates.
Meet and exceed sales targets and/or content kpi’s
Communicate with retail teams at store locations to coordinate orders and shipments.

Retail/Online store Operations:

When necessary, order fulfillment is required. We need to coordinate with other team members to get orders out to customers.
Maintain and update website admin including inventory, locations and pricing.

Salary:
35K-40K with review after 6 months.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

Are a self motivator. You need to show drive and that you are willing to learn on your own. Don’t have the answer? Figure it out. No one around to help you? Be resourceful.
Know your Designer Toys and their brands is a definite bonus
Are familiar with software such as OBS, Discord, Twitch and YouTube.
Are comfortable in front of a camera.
Are quite tech savvy and always excited to try out new gadgets and software.
Knowledge of French or Chinese Mandarin is definitely an asset but not required.
Knowing your way around the Shopify platform is an asset but training is provided.
