I was invited to the Design Exchange for their Cool and Collected talk which is in conjunction with the 'This Is Not A Toy' Art Toy exhibit.
The topic of the talk is "collections" and I decided to talk about how collecting toys has affected me and my life. A snippet of my life and how Mindzai started if you will.
What's different about this talk is the format. If you've heard of Pecha Kucha or have ever seen the Ignite talks on Youtube then you know what I'm talking about. I have 20 slides and I get exactly 20 seconds each before they switch to the next!
The talk is moderated by Cameron Williamson, Editor in chief at Flare and the others speakers invited include Joyce Lo, Barry Campbell, Kristin Weckworth, Micah Lexier, Code Cochrane, John Wee Tom, Daniel Faria, Jake Gold and Morgan Mavis.
I'm actually quite nervous about it so I hope you all try to come out and cheer meT on!
It's April 1st at 6:30 pm. See you there!
